1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SafeZ mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access or use the App.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the App. We reserve the right to update and change these Terms at any time without notice.

2. Description of Service

SafeZ is a mobile application designed to help users locate emergency shelters during crisis situations. The App provides:

• Real-time location of nearby emergency shelters
• Navigation and directions to shelters
• Shelter information including capacity and amenities
• Emergency contact information
• Offline access to essential shelter data

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SafeZ only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law
• Transmit any material that is defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate or attempt to impersonate another person or entity
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the App
• Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes without our express written consent

4. Emergency Services Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: SafeZ is designed to assist in locating emergency shelters but is NOT a replacement for official emergency services. In case of immediate danger or medical emergency:

• Always call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 100/101/102 in Israel)
• Follow official evacuation orders and emergency instructions
• Do not rely solely on the App for emergency decisions

5. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about emergency shelters, we cannot guarantee:

• The availability or capacity of any shelter at any given time
• The accuracy of all shelter information
• That all shelters listed are currently operational
• The safety or suitability of any particular shelter for your needs

Users should verify critical information through official channels when possible.

6. Location Services

The App requires access to your device's location services to function properly. By using SafeZ, you consent to:

• The collection and use of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy
• The accuracy limitations of GPS and location services
• Potential battery drain from continuous location tracking

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SafeZ and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App's content without permission
• Use any trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Create derivative works based on the App

8. User Feedback and Submissions

Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you provide regarding SafeZ shall become our sole property. We shall own exclusive rights to such feedback and shall be entitled to unrestricted use for any purpose without acknowledgment or compensation to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SAFEZ, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS (WHICH IS ZERO FOR FREE USERS).

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• The implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• That the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• That the information provided is accurate, reliable, or complete
• That any defects or errors will be corrected

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SafeZ and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SafeZ operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SafeZ regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
